Cute Video of Faith and Pearl Playing Puzzle

Pearl's speech has come a long way.    When she started her weekly speech therapy almost one year ago, she had only one word - "Ma Ma".     She has made significant progress since then.   Her words are still not perfect, but we have no problem understanding her most of the time.    Pui Pui, sitting in with Pearl in all of her speech therapy sessions, has picked up some of the basic teaching skills.     During this play time with Pearl, she has incorporated techniques such as narration, speech bombardment, repetition, sound recognition and discriminatory skills.      She is also our "translator" when we have trouble understanding Pearl's words.   Pui has been such a great helper.

Up until Pearl was about 26 months old, Pearl has only one word - Ma Ma.   We were so puzzled that why she could say "Ma Ma" so clearly but couldn't say any other "M" words.     She has many more words now, but her first word every morning is still "Ma Ma".    Someone said, "To the world, you are one person; but to one person you are the whole world."     I see that in Pearl.  The word "Ma Ma" has a much deeper meaning to her.

Praise the Lord. Pearl is awesome. She can say many words now, not just Mama any more. I can understand many words she says. And my dear Faith, she is absolutely wonderful. She did such a great job playing/teaching Faith. You are very blessed!
