She is Beautiful!!(AFTER)

Pearl is doing better and better everyday.      Dr. Oh (the surgeon) has done such a good job, and it is just amazing to see what medical technologies can do nowadays.   I can't express enough how grateful we are for the prayers, care and love we received during Pearl's recovery.   God poured out His great love for Pearl through our families and friends during this difficult recovery time.     Pearl is so blessed.

The metal guard and tapes slowly fell off, we began to see a beautiful smile behind.

Pearl had her post-op appointment this afternoon.   She is recovering so well.   She can now go back to her normal diet and feeding.  (yeah!)     According to Dr. Oh, the stitches will slowly fade as new skin grows.    The scar on her face will be minimum.     During the office visit, Dr. Oh cleaned up the "mess" (blood, mucus, scab, etc) on her face, and a beautiful face slowly revealed.    Oh, She is absolutely beautiful!

Pearl will go back to Dr. Oh for another post-op checkup on May 5.    After all the pain, tears, frustration, hunger, fear and sleepless nights,  I think we can proudly declare:  With His unmeasurable love and hope sustained us, we survived the "first round"!  

For my precious Pearl : Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans to proper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
