New Pictures

Summer is almost here!   Mun Mun's chubby, chunky face, arms and legs just makes me want to squeeze and kiss her all the time!

Cousin Grace and Pui Pui had fun drawing on the driveway with chalk.   Grace is a talented budding artist.  One day, she was asked in her class what her number one prayer request is.   She answered it is to pray for Pearl that she will start talking soon.   What a sweet, kind-heart girl she is!   Thank you Grace for your love for Pearl!

Pearl loves to eat.  She eats almost everything we give her, except for one thing - mashed potatoes.   We don't know why, but she spits it out and gives us this "yuck" face every time.  So funny...     She has learn to fold her hands and close her eyes (to pray) before every meal.

On 5/5, we returned to the doctor for post-op check up.    In the picture is Dr. Oh, Pearl's surgeon.   He did such a good job on Pearl's lip.   The outcome is totally beyond our expectation.   Pearl's next surgery for palate closure is scheduled for 6/14.   I am dragging to think about her 2nd surgery, as we were told recovery will be harder than the first time.    But I think we are ready!  Right? My little Mun Mun.....

Our chicken adventure - Well..... they are giving us a lot of headaches.... ha,ha...... The kids absolutely love them, but I don't really.....   The kids spend a lot of them watching them,  feeding them and chasing them....    I am all for them spending time outdoor, enjoying nature, planting and raising animals...   But everyday San and I are debating whether we should give them away....   I don't think I like the smell, and the amount of work to care for them.      As they are growing bigger, they need more room to roam around, and they get more stinky!      To my surprise, San is quite supportive of keeping them.   The kids have also been faithfully taking care of the chickens as promised.    So we will just take one day at a time.....      San and the boys have just finished building the chicken coop.     Right now as I type, Pui Pui and Yin Yin are out in the garage helping to apply a coat of paint to the chicken coop to protect it from rotting.   When that is ready, we will move the chickens to our backyard........ and... just hope our neighbors won't complain   :-P

At Pui Pui's birthday party on 5/8 - we had cousins, friends, and neighbors over.    Pui Pui had such a wonderful time that day.

My sister Faith made this delicious homemade cake for Pui Pui.   The cake was VERY delicious!

Here is My dear brother-in-law Eric guarding the moon bounce, and friend George strolling with Mun Mun.    It was a windy day, and in order to keep the moon bounce stable and keep the kids safe, Eric volunteered to sit on the moon bounce entrance.    He sat there all afternoon!!     George played with Pearl, and strolled her around all afternoon to keep her happy, while I was busy serving food, and caring for other kids.   Yan has two performances with the quartet that day, and San was busy driving Yan around most of that day, so he wasn't able to help.    Thank you so much Eric and George!    What a friend (brother-in-law) you are!

Funny faces of the lovely kids!     Happy 7th Birthday my dear!
